Meet The Staff
Paul Purvis // Lead Pastor
Pastor Paul Purvis was born in Hartsville, South Carolina. He was raised in a strong Christian home and at the age of seven understood the need for a personal, life long relationship with Jesus Christ. During his junior year at Furman University, he responded to God’s vocational call on his life. Although he had served in various church and ministry roles prior to that time, it was after beginning the preparations for a career in politics and law that he realized that God had greater plans for him. The driving passion of his life is to glorify God through loving Jesus and leading the local church to reach its community and the world by providing a ministry that is real, relevant, and relational.
Pastor Paul has been married to Kimberly since 1993 and together they have 4 boys; Micah, Caleb, Noah and Luke.

His path has continually been directed toward pastoral ministry even though there were seasons of wondering what God had in store. Today he serves to develop leaders whose passion for Jesus Christ propels them to love others by telling them the truth about Jesus, ministering to their physical needs, and leading them through the disciple-making process here at FBCTT.

Shortly thereafter, his family moved to Rhode Island where he grew up. During his senior year in high school, he re-dedicated his life and decided to go to a Christian college. It was at college where God gave him a love for ministry and missions. It was also here where he met his wife Trista. God has given him the privilege of working in ministry for the last fifteen years and the joy of seeing God work among many different people and nations. One of his greatest satisfactions is when God's people discover their gifts and use it to extend God's kingdom. Josue and Trista are blessed with four children: Josué Jr., Abigail, Makayla, and Analiyah.
Josué has the priviledge to serve as the Director of Missions: helping our church family engage the needs of the world with the hope that is within us through Jesus Christ.
Jeff Six // Campus Director of Ministries // Terrace Church Six Mile Campus

As a new believer, he was discipled through The Navigators collegiate ministry, and after graduating he served in that ministry for several years, growing in his faith and beginning to sense God's call into full-time ministry. In 1995 Jeff moved to South Carolina and pursued a Master of Divinity at Columbia Biblical Seminary where God also brought Bonnie into his life.
Jeff and Bonnie were married in 2001 and have three children, Eliana, Mikayla, and Josiah.
Erin McCallum // Director of Preschool
Erin McCallum grew up on a farm in the little town of Broxton, GA. She was raised in a Christian family, where she learned about Jesus at an early age through the witness of her parents and the love of many faithful Sunday School teachers at FBC Broxton. When she was seven years old, her dad explained the Gospel to her one night, and she prayed to ask Jesus to forgive her of her sins and placed her trust in Jesus as her Savior and Lord. When she was in sixth grade, she went to a missions camp for girls in North Georgia, where she learned about God’s heart for the nations. It was there that she first felt God calling her to be a missionary. This calling later lead to her serving for two years as a missionary for the International Mission Board in India, after graduating from college in 2010. While in India, God grew her faith in big ways, and she discovered a love for discipling women and children, telling Bible stories with henna art, and drinking really sweet coffee. After returning to the States, she earned her Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in North Carolina.
Erin first discovered her passion for working with children as a teenager, when she served in the nursery on Sunday nights, and she has worked with children ever since for more than ten years in various roles as an employee and as a volunteer in the churches where she was a member. She joined the staff of FBC Temple Terrace in August of 2016 as the Director of Preschool Ministries. She loves being a part of a church that makes missional living and discipleship a priority at every stage of life.
Peter Adler // Director of Kids & Pre-Teens Ministries

In the years following, he attended the Moody Bible Institute graduating with a degree in Biblical Studies.
Peter has had a wide range of work experience from being a VP of a market research firm to being a certified tennis pro for the City of Temple Terrace. He was honored to win the "High School Tennis Coach of the Year" in 2012 and 2013.

Brent Porter // Director of Next Generations Ministries
Brent grew up in the Wichita, Kansas area. Raised in a Christian home, Brent knew the importance of a relationship with Christ, but it wasn’t until a Summer Youth Camp that he surrendered his life to Christ. About a year later, Brent felt God speaking again, and it was at that point, he surrendered his life to full-time Christian service. God created a passion for student ministry inside of Brent because of opportunities that his youth pastor gave him through High School and hurts that he saw with his own friends. Brent graduated from Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, MO in 2001 with his Bachelor’s degree and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2006 with his Master’s in Christian Education. He has been serving in Student Ministry for the past 15 years in churches across the South, including Texas, South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida.
God brought Jaquie into Brent’s life and they were married in December 2012. They have 3 children, Jayden, Jackson and Cora Joy.

Zak came to the United States in 2004 where he served among the leaders within the International Ministry at FBCTT. He is a faithful man of prayer who believes that prayer is vital in the life of a Believer because it promotes communication and fellowship with God as well as achieving victory in ministry.
