The purpose of our worship ministry is to lead people to worship our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. First Baptist Church of Temple Terrace has a wonderful worship ministry made of friendly, talented and loving people that serve the Lord through the choir, vocal team, orchestra or praise band. The vision for each of these groups is to worship God sincerely & fervently, to encourage other believers to worship God in spirit & truth, and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. In all that we do, we strive to honor the Lord by serving Him to the best of our abilities. While there are no set musical requirements to be involved in the worship ministry FBC Temple Terrace, we strive to do everything with excellence.
The Choir is open for anyone above the age of 18 and we have rehearsals on Wednesdays from 7:00pm-8:00pm in the Choir Suite (2nd floor by the elevator). Rehearsals are uplifting, fun and effectively prepare us to lead worship on Sundays. You are welcome to drop in and check things out with no strings attached.
The Orchestra and Praise Band are open for anyone proficient with his/her instrument. The Instrumental rehearsal is on Wednesdays from 8:00pm-9:00pm in the Worship Center. All are welcome at rehearsal, but we ask that you contact our Office prior to coming in order to prepare music for you.
