PRAISES!
GARRETT BEING BAPTIZED WITH 13 LOLO BELIEVERS
We traveled to Derre for Christmas, knowing that we’d get to witness the baptism of Lolo Believers. I was praying that our kids might be ready to take this step and express publicly what God has done in them. Garrett took the opportunity and Avery decided to wait until we’re back in Grandpa’s church. Before each one was baptized, they were questioned by other believers concerning where they were placing their faith and what they believed. Garrett as well was questioned by one of the Lolo Believers (with a translator of course)
NAPHTALI ARRIVING IN AFRICA TO HOMESCHOOL OUR KIDS
She brings us hope! =) It’s very encouraging that this friend of the family is taking 6 months to come help with our kid’s education while we all learn Swahili. We’ll pick her up at the airport tomorrow, which gives her some time in Mozambique with us before we travel together to Tanzania.
CHRISTMAS GIFTS PURCHASE RESIDENCE VISAS AND AIRLINE TICKETS
Yeah! We’re moving forward! January 25th the kids, Naphtali and I travel to Tanzania and will be joined by D.J. on February 1st, after he attends meeting in
the U.S.
PRAYER:
SWAHILI SCHOOL FEES – We are still lacking the amount needed as most of our tuition and accommodation is required upon arrival with a month’s accommodation cost deposited ahead of time. It is possible that our car could be sold next week which should then cover the cost. If there is somewhere else that He wants us to study Swahili then we trust Him to reveal that to us too.
FAMILY ADJUSTMENT TO TANZANIA-yes, that includes Naphtali too, as she is now part of the family. =)
